    The DS-PDSMK-E-WE is a fully monitored two-way wireless optical smoke detector for the AX PRO system, with built-in siren, and the smoke detector complies with EN14604 standards.

    Optical smoke detectors, also called photoelectric smoke detectors, are less prone to false alarms than standard smoke detectors (ionisation) and detect slow-smouldering fires that often produce a lot of smoke a little faster. This type of fire is usually caused by cladding materials or overheated wiring.

    The detector can operate for up to 10 years on battery.
