The Ajax MotionProtect and MotionProtect Plus are both excellent motion detectors, but they have some key differences that cater to different needs and environments.

Detection Technology:
the main difference between the two lies in their detection technology. While both devices use an infrared sensor to detect motion, the MotionProtect Plus also includes a microwave sensor.
