Wifi connection with Hik-Connect directly is not possible, but it is possible if you take a NVR from Hikvision.

A 12 volt power supply is included, so it does not need to be ordered extra.

This model cannot be connected to POE.

Note: It is best to combine this camera with a Hikvision Network Video Recorder (NVR) so that you can view the live and recorded images with the free Hik-connect app.

The Hikvision DS-2CV2141G2-IDW displays images in a Full HD 2560x1440 resolution. The camera has a built-in automatic IR-cut filter and is therefore a real day/night camera. In dark conditions, the camera can switch on the built-in matrix IR lighting, so that even in complete darkness (0 Lux) there is a razor-sharp image. The IR lighting has a range of 30 meters. The camera has Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) so that the camera can handle complex lighting conditions as a result of, for example, backlight from the sun or car headlights. The camera has a fixed lens of 2.8mm.

The Hikvision outdoor dome network camera DS-2CV2141G2-IDW features 1/2.7" Progressive Scan 4MP CMOS and built-in dual antenna 2.4G Wi-Fi, up to 120m range in open space. This IP camera supports two-way audio Built-in micro SD/SDHC/SDXC card slot, up to 256 GB and EXIR, 30 m IR range.
