Q. My NVR beeps after I start it up for the first time?
A. The hard disk of the NVR needs to be formatted. You can do this directly on the NVR at Menu --> HDD --> check the hard disk and click "Init" at the bottom. The NVR will stop beeping after formatting.
Q. The plugin has been downloaded, but I still get a message that it is not installed?
A. Currently, the HikVision Plugin is only supported by the following web browsers:
- Internet Explorer (Attention! Microsoft Edge does not work!)
- Mozilla Firefox
- Safari on iOS (iMac)
Unfortunately, Google Chrome no longer supports the Plugin!
Q.I added a new IPCamera on my NVR, but nothing happens?
A. Your NVR's firmware is outdated and needs to be upgraded. You can download the latest firmware from the HikVision website.
