The Hikvision DS-7616NXI-K2 Network Video Recorder is a 16 channel Acusense recorder. Acusense is a technology that allows the recorder to recognize and record people and/or vehicles on all connected cameras. This reduces useless recordings such as recordings of blowing leaves. The recorder is equipped with an HDMI output for connecting a TV or monitor, a network output for connection to the network/APP, 2x SATA connection for a hard disk (not included as standard, select below). IP cameras that are connected via the network can be recorded on this recorder. (via PoE switch)

This recorder with Acusense technology can apply Acusense technology to simple cameras.
For older Hikvision IP cameras and the newer Acusense this can be useful. So that people or vehicles are recognized for recording and/or push messages. Normal recorders with simple cameras cannot distinguish moving trees from people or vehicles, for example, a result is that the recorder records a lot of empty recordings. It is therefore a very useful technique that helps to make targeted recordings on people and/or vehicles.
