Video Balun set for video, data and power over UTP
This video Balun is a balun set consisting of two devices that convert BNC signals to then send them over a data/UTP cable, as well as directly realizing the power supply of the camera. At the other end is the other device to convert the signal back to BNC. By placing a 12 volt power supply on the recorder side, the camera also receives power via the UTP.
In addition, the distances that can be achieved for good transmission over UTP cable are many times longer than when using a coaxial cable.
With coax cables, in some cases an amplifier must be used after 100 meters because the image strength is too weakened. With Videobaluns and a UTP cable you can achieve distances of more than 400 meters.
